Makanda Veterans Memorial
The Makanda Veterans Memorial was erected on May 20, 2000 in front of the B.C. Ross Community Center in Makanda. It contains the engraved names of Veterans both living and deceased from Makanda Village and Township. Qualified Veterans' names are added once a year before Veterans Day.
